The Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council (ECSECC) was established in 1995 as a multi-stakeholder council to advise the provincial government on improving service delivery and to create a common platform for debate between the various development communities of the Eastern Cape. ECSECC is a Schedule 3 Public Entity reporting to the Office of the Premier. As a multi-stakeholder organization, ECSECC’s board has representation from Provincial Government, Local Government, organised business, organised labour, organised NGOs and Institutions of Higher Learning in the Eastern Cape. In pursuance of its mandate, ECSECC publishes research reports, working papers and other publications on a regular basis. ECSECC publications are made available on the ECSECC website, circulated to stakeholders and exhibited at relevant events in the province. ECSECC also incorporates the Eastern Cape AIDS Council (ECAC). ECSECC seeks the services of a media, communications and design expert to develop a style guide and standard designs for ECSECC research reports, ECSECC working papers and other ECSECC branding material. The service provider will be a preferred service provider for ECSECC for printing and production of promotional material for the 2010/2011 financial year. However, ECSECC will nonetheless reserve the right to use, or obtain quotations from, other service providers for specific events.
